# What kind of speeds should I be seeing?

{% hint style="info" %}

{% endhint %}

When pinging websites, you should be seeing the lowest pings in most cases, max ping if you are running a lot of network intensive software in the background. You might also see network impact if you are running up the CPU and/or RAM.

For download/upload speeds, this will depend on which server plan you get as CPU & RAM definitely do limit the capabilities of a full 40Gbps link. The higher the specs, the higher the download and upload speeds will be. A 40Gbps link will allow us to stop the bottlenecking between servers running for the same drop.

| Upload (Min) | Upload (Max) | Download (Min) | Download (Max) |
| ------------ | ------------ | -------------- | -------------- |
| 8Gbps        | 40Gbps       | 8Gbps          | 40Gbps         |

We HIGHLY recommend that you leave the DNS servers as the preset default DNS servers as we have direct peering with CloudFlare and would like the best connection possible for you.
